Denying civil rights doesn't make us safer, the governor proposes a solution to a "non-problem"

The proposed regulation is a solution in search of a problem and appears on its face to be political pandering. There is no demonstrable evidence that it will improve public safety, while denying thousands of law-abiding citizens their rights.

If enacted, the proposed regulation will offer well;defined areas where civil servants and citizens will be attractive targets for crime or terrorist attacks. This senseless proposed regulation denies a civil right guaranteed by the US and Virginia's Constitutions while not offering any benefit to the citizens.

This regulations should not be approved and the emergency regulation withdrawn.
