Gun Ban in State Buildings Under Emergency Order - What Emergency?

Dear Governor McAulliffe,

Why do you feel the need to have removed an existing right for self-protection in state buildings with an emergency order?  I am unaware of any emergency regarding concealed weapon permit holders in state buildings.  As an Army Veteran, multiple type firearms competitor of many years, and peaceful (and safe) permit holder, I feel insulted by your actions.

Please reconsider this action and return permit holders to the same base level of protection that you enjoy with your armed escort in state buildings and everywhere else.  Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

George Nyfeler
