I am in favor to allow appropriately trained physical therapist use Trigger Point Dry Needling. PT’s are highly trained health care professional who possess in depth knowledge in anatomy: most PT’s actually have better musculo-skeletal knowledge than PCP. When you take PT’s education in addition with the additional training for Trigger Point Dry Needling, there is no reason that PT’s cannot perform this safely and efficiently.
