Acupuncture is part of medical, you need prepare yourself for all the basics such as physiology, pathology, anatomy and plenty for at least 2 years full time in a university, and then 2 more year on acupuncture, points, channels, manipulation and loads of subject FULL TIME. Then 1 year internship in hospital where you will possibly need to observe 50 patients a day. You NEVER can insert needles and tell you clients you are doing medical needling after several hundreds hours practice. It is NOT RESPONSIBLE  to patient.
