Do not introduce confusion, and abet corruption, in our voter registration form.

Why would you allow an applicant NOT to affirmatively state that he or she is a U.S. citizen, has not been convicted of a felony, and has not found mentally incompetent?

The obvious reason—and it is a bad reason—is to promote voter fraud.

Furthermore, if you make this change you will run afoul of the Code of Virginia and of the Virginia Constitution.  If you have not hardened your heart against breaking the law, you will not do this.
