Voter registration applications should not be rejected because of a technical error that does not change the validity of the information submitted. For example, someone neglecting to check the box that says they will be 18 before the election should not be disenfranchised, when they have also entered their birth date. The State Board of Elections is employing common sense in this matter, and as a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I applaud their efforts.
