I am a life-long resident of Virginia and active voter.  I strongly endorse the proposed update to the voter registration application and administrative rules on how to evaluate the application forms.  

It is important that voter registration be made as smooth a process as possible.  Qualified voters should never be disenfranchised because of minor oversights or technical issues with the voter registration form. The proposed changes will promote fairness in the registration process.

The changes under consideration should be adopted as proposed.
