Gov McAuliffe's proposal not to require applicants to check the box affirming that they are United States citizens is an outrageous assault on the Virginia voting process and should be relegated to an appropriate file for looney ideas.  What exactly does the governor intend to gain by this move?  More votes from non-Americans?
