Voter Registry

I recollect my amazement when I helped my then 18-year old son register to vote in 1990 that NO form of ID was required to for him to register.  Instead of 'loosening/weakening' the registration requirements as is proposed, they should be tightened to MANDATE that a valid ID be shown to establish citizenship/eligibilty to vote.  To do less diminishes the value of my vote as a citizen as with 'no' ID to register (and litttle enough ID to vote), ANYONE including those not eligible to vote can (and proof suggests they do) register and vote.  See the duplicated voters from North Carolina/Virginia - to the tune of 35,000.  This is a WRONG thing!!!
