I see no reason to change the present registration form. It is clear that by law convicted felons and persons who are not citizens of the US cannot vote. Just signing the form is not enough, the boxes need to be checked so it is clear when someone votes who is not eligible knew that they were breaking the law. The only reason I can see for not requiring that these boxes be checked in order to vote is to make it easier for ineligible persons to vote. Please use common sense and leave the form and requirements as is.
