If the SBE was honestly too worried that eligible voters may inadvertently disqualify themselves for not noticing and/or failing to check those two checkboxes, then I have a very simple but practical solution for the SBE:  MAKE THE TWO CHECKBOXES AND THE WORDS 10 TIMES BIGGER and COLOR THEM IN FLUORESCENT PINK!  But seriously, SBE please, do not make the two checkboxes optional. Think of them as guardians of the true democracy that many of our own people had sacrificed their life in its defense.
