I have served as an election officer for the last few years, which opened my eyes to the existence of voter fraud.   Of course it is desirable to increase the number of eligible voters who participate in elections.  However, the proposed changes to the voter registration form will result in far more people being registered who are not legally eligible to vote.  There are better ways to increase participation in our democratic process.
