In order to protect the process of voting for which my Father fought in WW1, I feel it is necessary to insist on proper identification being presented at the time one votes.  Many organizations are willing to transport those who wish to participate with no prejudice of party ties.  Also, verification of residence can be obtained at NO COST TO THE APPLICANT.  Why would anyone be upset at knowing  his vote was not being negated by someone who was not legally supposed to vote?
