I am writing with respect to abortion centers’ health and safety regulations. I am among a growing number of Virginians who believe that women who have made the decision to have an abortion should have access to an environment which meets basic health and safety standards. Although the abortion industry claims to be safe, there are 300 health and safety violations on record which beg to differ. It would appear that that the 1 billion dollar industry called Planned Parenthood has interests which supersede the health and wellbeing of the women who go to their clinics seeking an abortion, as inspections of clinics across the commonwealth and nation at large have unearthed health and safety violations which are both widespread and grievous.On behalf of women who seek abortions at these clinics trusting that their own health will not be compromised, I strongly urge you to vote to put their safety, health and well-being first.
