I urge you to keep the current health and safety regulations for abortion clinics in Virginia.  Over the past two years, numerous violations have been found....indicating a blatant disregard for the health and safety of women in crisis pregnancy who have gone to abortion clinics for help.

Independent observers have found unsterilized instruments, blood spattered tables, poorly or untrained staff, overage fetuses in freezers to mention only a few violation.

 It seems quite apparent that the abortion industry is unable or unwilling to regulate itself.  Whether one is for or against abortion, we can all agree that our daughters, and all women, deserve to find the highest health and safety standards present when they entrust themselves to those who are purporting to have their best interests at heart. Thank you for giving this your most objective consideration.
