Please do not use these regulations to return Virginia to a place lacking in options for women in se

I'm old enough to remember when abortion was illegal in Virginia. Women, many young teenagers, in serious difficulty had a choice of going somewhere else where it was legal or choosing truly horrific back-door methods. I'm confused as to why people imagine that doing away with safe, legal ways of getting abortions will stop them from happening. It certainly didn't in the past when they were illegal and it won't now. What is needed is not impossible-to-meet regulations designed by a previous administration whose intent was to take away womens' personal choices. What is needed is a better understanding of the world all of us live in today and education and contraceptives that will keep the option of abortion as one that is rarely needed. Even with most people practicing safe sex with contraceptives there will still be times when life or death situations require abortions and they should be safe, legal, and avaiable in those instances. I know that this a difficlut issue and many people are genuinely philosophically opposed to abortion but I don't believe they have the right to make that decision for other poeple. Please do away with these draconian regulations and allow women the right to make their own choices.
