I support any and all measures to protect and support the health and safety regulations for abortion centers. Its a medical procedure and abortion clinics and centers therefore should meet standards of health and safety regulations imposed on other medical facilities. Its 2014, and abortion centers should not in anyway resemble "chop shops" of the past. The basic and intrinsic rights of women to 21st century standards of health and safety regulations in a medical environment is at stake. Many of the exposed violations such as unsteralized needles, dirty equipment, violations of Virginia laws about parental consent and failure to report possible child abuse speak for themselves. I question the integrity of any Virginian lawmaker, politician, parent, woman who can allow these conditions to perpetuate for any reason. Women who choose abortion do not choose barbaric procedures. UPHOLD THE HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS OF ABORTION FACILITIES AND PROTECT WOMEN OF ALL AGES. Sara Meade
