Members of the Board of Health,I urge you to maintain the safety measures that have been put into place for those choosing to have an abortion in Virginia. The attempt by Planned Parenthood to overturn that legislation is little short of criminal, something akin to a large energy company pressuring a state government to turn a blind eye to health risks arising from their practices. I am certain that none of you would be party to that kind of callousness, and I ask you to take the same resolute stance regarding abortion clinic safety. Statistically, those using abortion services are among the youngest, most vulnerable members of our Commonwealth. Please protect them! James Reed
