As a Virginia resident and mother of three teen aged girls, I ask that the standards adopted to protect women in abortion clinics be maintained and even improved. The thought that this procedure is not always done within a hospital setting is ridiculous enough. If this must be allowed to take place outside of a hospital, the least that should be required is that each facility adhere to strict safety and hygiene procedures.
