I believe that abortion centers should be held to the same standard of any other surgical center in Virginia. The deplorable safety and sanitary conditions that have come to light in recent years make Virginias abortion centers sound more like butcher shops than legitimate medical offices. I urge you to ensure the health and safety of Virginias women by holding abortion centers to the same common sense standard of conduct by which any other surgical center in our state must comply.
