This particular legislation does not protect women. It is simply a political move to prevent access to safe, legal abortions. If this law and board wanted to truly protect women (and men) all medical procedures would be done in a hospital like setting, using the same strict guidelines outlined in this law for abortion clinics. Because of the narrow focus, the law is not for protection but rather a political ploy to prevent women from access. The trouble with this town hall is that many people who want to protect women do not realize that other medical/dental procedures are not equally strict.

Repeal this law as it has no medical need.
