TRAP was not passed to protect women but to put obstacles in the path of women's access to health care.  While we all want safe, clean facilities, TRAP is obviously meant to deny abortion services to women.  Such a decision is not easily made but should be between a woman, her doctor, and her family rather than imposed by the legislature.. This law is punishing those women and families who have limited access to more expensive types of care.
