Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

In just two years inspectors have exposed widespread health and safety violations such ad blood splattered exam tables, unsterilized needles and incomplete life saving equipment. Also violations of Virginia parental consent laws and many more deficiencieshave been found. While the abortion industry claims to be safe over 300 health and safety violations prove otherwise. Emergencies happen to women in abortion clinics including life-threatening loss of blood, infections, and other emergencies. Door ways and hallways must, by necessity, be wide enough to accommodate emergency equipment. Women in abortion clinics deserve to have the gold standard of emergency care provided which is proven to not be able to be provided in these clinics. Planned Parenthood is a 1 billion dollar industry. It has the money to bring its abortion centers into compliance with these reasonable health and safety standards. it simply has to choose to spend the money in this way instead of on political campaigns.again those who choose to have abortions should be able to do so in an environment that meets basic health and safety standards, in an environment that is clean and safe, and in an environment where healthcare personnel are trained properly.
