Dear Virginia State Board of Health:I ask that the Board sustain and enforce previously passed abortion center health and safety regulations. These regulations protect womens health by ensuring that abortion centers meet common sense standards of care and accessibility requirements for emergency personnel. Two years of inspections have identified over 300 widespread health and safety violations, belying abortion center claims that they can effectively self-regulate. Clearly, these centers require continued oversight and accountability.The well-funded abortion industry has sufficient resources to accommodate these reasonable and necessary regulations.
