Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers (Women's Health Clinics)

I do not support the amendment of hospital regulations to conform to the absurd new interpretation of law by the Attorney General’s office. It is abhorrent that Ken Cuccinelli has placed all hospitals and medical facilities at risk by setting this legal precedence.

Women’s health care centers cannot be treated differently under the law.  Full women's healthcare is not unlawful but this extreme over-regulation of women's health clinics will lead to diminished access to healthcare.  I am not proud of this repulsive example of gender inequality in our Commonwealth.   The Board of Health, the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Governor should not feel proud of this either.  It is criminal and negligent to reduce full heathcare access for all women of Virginia, of all colors, all religions, all mental and physical abilities, all sexualities, all educational and financial and family backgrounds.  How can we respect our state if it willfully denigrates the rights of women?  I submit that these regulations do not have any place for outpatient services that are received in any clinic and that they should be retracted especially since hospitals all over the Commonwealth do not even have to commit to all these regulations and have been grandfathered in over the decades because of the extreme cost involved.
