There is no valid reason for these regulations - I don't see how any rational person could argue otherwise.  It is appalling for The Board to make a decision re medical  concerns, but political ones. We Virginians count on the Board to protect our healthcare.  Whatever one's personal feelings re abortion, it is a legal, medical procedure available to those who choose it.  It appears the Board has no concern for the health and safety of patients receiving surgery in Plastic/Reconstructive centers, or hospitals, etc.  Since this regulation was passed on an "emergency" basis,  with duress from the Attorney General, and only applies to Family Planning clinics, it is clearly prejudicial.

When will the Board do the right thing?  I have commented, sent letters,  etc., as have many, many others.   Surely with something that generates this much citizen concern and outrage, we are owed (and request, strongly) a rational explanation for the passing of these regulations  specifically for Family Planning Clinics and  retroactively to boot, at the  very least.

I urge you once again, to uphold your duties to the citizens of the Commonwealth of VA, and strike these egregious regulations.

I request a response  from the agency, as my previous comments have not  been acknowledged or answered in any way.   Thank you.
