It is unconscionable to consider restricting access to such vital resources as those targeted by this legislation. Regardless of one's stance on the specific issue of abortion, these facilities provide a great deal more to promote health and education within their communities. Abortions constitue only three out of a hundred procedures performed at Planned Parenthood in particular, and only 1 out of 10 women who rely on these facilities for many aspects of their health and wellbeing actually receive an abortion. Simply put, TRAP is an egregious affront to the rights of women and Virginia citizens of all stripes.
