I deeply oppose this attempt to limit the access to vital medical care for myself and other Virginian women. This ideological attack on our reproductive rights has no place in my state. This isn't a genuine attempt at ensuring our health and safety, it is extreme ideology attempting to circumvent the rights to reproductive freedom recognized by the US Supreme Court and the availability of safe and affordable healthcare services to Virginia's women. These proposed regulations have no medical or scientific merit, which should be the ultimate test for their existence. I am deeply disappointed in the Board of Health and other institutions of the Commonwealth, which should place our health above fringe politics. Please do not impose these malicious, groundless, politically-motivated regulations.
