I was born in Virginia, and never before have I been so glad not to live there anymore. The TRAP laws are an all-out attack on our right to control our own fertility. No woman should have to carry  to term a child against her will, especially if that child is the result of rape or incest. It is especially ironic and shameful that the same legislators who seek to limit or obliterate abortion are doing everything they can to make it too difficult and too expensive to get proper birth control that would reduce the need for abortion in the first place. And the fact that the GOP also want to destroy the social safety net that might make it possible for those women who do choose to keep their children to live decently, pursue an education, find good daycare for those children, feed them nutritious foods, etc., etc., etc., makes this legislation a deliberate act of brutality against not just those women it targets, but the children who will be born to them if these laws are passed. Do the right thing and vote NO on the TRAP laws. Thank you.
