My husband, Donald Marro, and I strongly condemn the cultural and religious hypocrisy that treats women as second-class citizens whose bodies are the property of the state or subject to religious proscription.  It is time to abandon the atavistic  Virginia mossbacks who wish to perpetuate the same mindset that countenanced slavery, separate but equal racial discrimination, and gay bashing.  The time for recognizing that abortion on demand is the law of the land and that the rule of law applies to everyone whether they vote or not is long past mosdt everywhere but here in Virginia and other backward, backwoods settings.
