TRAP woud impose arbitrary and burdensome reguations on VA health providers. There is little to no ambiguity about that. Any justification put forth, as far as I know, can only be an excuse generated for a political end - restricting access to abortions and other family planning services in an effort to impose a controversial religious interpretation on the public in a sneaky and underhanded way. Do not deny those women who use these services (and their families) - who are likely to be lower income, members of minority groups, and uninsured - access to inexpensive, safe, and vital health care. To do so, without any legitimate, without any scientific, justification is to directly attack their health and well being. I don't think that any of you want to attack the health and well being of these women and I understand that you are under political pressures. Stand up up and find another way. I have faith that you can ensure the safety and well being of Virginia's women and their families.
