It's tragic how divided we women are on this issue and equally tragic that the lifers really don't care about women, about themselves. If they did, they would impose requirements on birthing centers, like one I've seen in a small, old building with narrow hallways. What if a delivery goes wrong? How would they get the patient out to a hospital?

Their shortsightedness boggled my mind until I realized that, no matter how well we argue the opposite, women really are no more than sex objects and baby factories.

Virginia should be ashamed of how it's treating its women.
