It is very apparent to me that the requirement in VA. that womens health centers be required to provide full hospital capabilities is an effort to close them down completely so they cannot afford to provide services to women who normally would not be able to afford medical services. This effort will only result in women flooding emergency rooms where taxpayers will have to pick up the cost of their services instead and severly limit the options impoverished women have available to them regarding certain medical services like OB and GYN services and wellness checks or other preventitive care that would keep the cost of medical services to a minimum. Please defeat this overly restrictive regulation effort that will impact negatively on womens health centers and women without insurance.
