We are strongly opposed to passage of TRAP into law. Abortions must remain safe and legal. Abortion clinics in Virginia already have an excellent safety record. Noone is a proponent of Abortion. We simply recognize the necessity to provide a safe and legal environment when they do occur, and they will occur. There are ways to reduce the number of abortions in our country. Making them illegal and difficult to obtain is not one of them.
