Support permanent regulation of abortion clinics

As a nurse, I aim to protect and preserve patients' lives and health - calling abortion healthcare is an abomination ofthe term.

However, since we live in a reality that this procedure is regarded as "necessary," the bare minimum we can do is ensure that the facilities that perform it are regulated enough that it does not result in the death of both mother and baby.

These regulations were enacted because thge abortion industry does not self-regulate to protect women's health. Women have died in them because emergency workers were not able to bring medical equipment in. Since the regulations were enacted, many facilities have been found in violation and have made changes that have made them safer (once again, in the mangled meaning of the word that any abortion can be considered "safe" )

The abortion industry has proven time and again that it does not care about the health of women, and that it maintains these facilities to the minimum standards of hygiene and sanitation. Strong regulations are necessary to maintain a minimum safety standard, and I strongly support making these regulations permanent.
