The right to a safe and legal abortion, free from government intrusion, must be maintained.  Most people of conscience agree that  abortion should not be undertaken lightly and without much discernment, but in the end it should be a woman's choice, hopefully after medical consultation.  Let us all work together to end the conditions that lead to unwanted pregnancies in the first place, so that we can eliminate the need for abortion.  But until that happens, it should not be a political matter; rather, a private medial decision.
