I strongly oppose the proposed regulations concerning abortion clinics in Virginia. These regulations have nothing to do with ensuring women's well-being and health, and everything to do with anti-choice politics. Ideology has no place in health care; indeed, if these regulations are allowed to stand, women's health could be endangered because of the number of clinics that would likely have to close. How is making a legal, safe medical procedure more difficult to obtain in the best interests of women and their families? Please, don't let ideology trump health care -- the women of Virginia deserve better than that.
