Protect the health of VA women via these reasonable regulations!

I am appalled by the very low standards of care offered to women by abortion centers in VA and all around the country.

Abortion centers typically violate health and safety standards in dozens of ways, and unapologetically so. Rather than apologizing for their reckless endangerment of their patients, they simply cry foul because it costs them money to comply. We're talking about basic stuff here, but it's apparently not self-evident to abortion providers that they should sterlize their equipment and patient beds, keep their waiting rooms and operating rooms clean, etc. They routinely violate these basic standards, as well as biohazard waste disposal regulations, building codes, and fire codes. I've seen lots of pictures of the inside of these clinics, with the blood smeared on the walls, furniture, and floors, and from the look of them, at least some of them are so unsanitary that a "back alley" would almost be an upgrade!

It is time for abortion providers to submit to the same health and safety regulations that everyone else has to comply with already. Just because you offer a highly controversial procedure doesn't mean you don't have to play by the rules.

The longer that abortion providers refuse to treat their patients with decency and respect (which clearly requires having a clean and safe facility), then the more it becomes clear that their real priority is money instead of the health of their patients.
