Unfair and unnecessary regulations for women's health centers

I am extremely upset and insulted by these proposed regulations -- I am fortunate enough to afford my own health care, but I vehemently oppose any measures that would inhibit any other woman from obtaining affordable health care. These regulations unfairly target women's health clinics that already safely provide legal first-trimester abortion and reproductive health care to women in Virginia. Because these burdensome, unnecessary regulations will most likely cause these clinics to shut down, many women throughout the state will no longer have access to affordable, high-quality health reproductive services, including cancer screenings, STI screenings, pre-natal care, and affordable birth control. If the state intends to implement regulations for these clinics, the regulations should be based purely on medicine and science, and not on political agendas.
