TRAP is a loss of distinction between church and state

Women's health centers provide health care for women.  TRAP inhibits women's health centers, and is responding to outcry from religious groups, rather than the health needs of women.

Health clinics are for medical needs.  They are not the place to play out the ongoing problem the US has keeping religion out of politics.

I am a religious person, but I would like to practice my religion without the government's interference.  And I would like to make sure women in my state have the best health care avialable to them, not block it for non-health-related reasons.  TRAP is about forcing unnecessary restrictions on women's health clinics, based on religious reasons, rather than health reasons.

Any good concervative politician would not want such regulations, and any good liberal politician would not want to take health care away from women.  Why would any political movement want to push the TRAP regulations onto women's health centers?  Only due to feeling beholden to the religious fundamentalists, and no other reason.  It is a poor choice of who to follow.  It is unAmerican.
