In my opinion these changes are unnecessary and unwarranted.  Not to keep bring up similar comments as everyone else, but my question is when does the OEMS stop pushing for this unfunded mandate.  That is essentially what it comes down too.  With the extra requirements of recertification, the costs involved with this process become too much to burden for the employee.  Would the OEMS share the burden of cost.  Other questions I have is Why is the OEMS pursuing this?  Are their statistics out there that indicate that all of the proposed changes lead to a more qualified EMS Educator?
