I would guess that the people who demand that a woman who is in labor and delivering a baby be shackled have never been in labor or delivered a baby. This practice is not even demanded when an animal labors and delivers. This practice is brutal and demeans the woman. For God's sake show some respect and compassion for women in this condition. This practice is outrageous.
