Please consider regulating the use of shackles on pregnant inmates, especially during labor, delivery and postpartum recovery. While these inmates have done wrong and deserve correction, birth can be an especially difficult and uncomfortable time and should not be complicated or exacerbated by excessive restraint. Thank you.
