This is entirely unnecessary and represents cruel and unusual punishment affecting the life of the mother and the child for the rest of all their lives. Advocating for and/or allowing this treatment of the incarcerated recasts the light  of the time of slavery and their treatment on our Legislators, the DOC, its employees, Virginia and all its citizens It must be stopped.
