The practice of restraining pregnant prisoners is barbaric!  The use of restraints during delivery is nothing short of sadism.  I'd have been horrified to hear it was sanctioned by any government in the world.  To learn it exists here in America, in my home state is the source of great shame and outrage.  This practice has been condemned by every respectable medical and human right's organization and should not be allowed to continue here in Virginia.
