General Information
Action Summary The purpose of this proposed action is to amend section 12VAC5-481-451, "Increased controls and fingerprinting" to be compatible with 10 CFR Part 37. The NRC created Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 10, Part 37 (10CFR Part37), “Physical Protection of Category 1 and Category 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material” on March 19, 2013. Agreement States are required to implement compatible regulations within 3 years of this date or the program will be deemed "non-compatible" by the NRC, which may result in the revocation of Virginia’s Agreement State status

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
