| Purpose of the meeting The Department of Environmental Quality will convene a public hearing on a draft permit modification for the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill located at 9340 Virgil H. Goode Highway in Franklin County. This increase in capacity is achieved by lowering the base grades in some areas and increasing the final grades through the use of tack on berms. This modification also incorporates changes to the orientation of the leachate collection piping and adds a third leachate sump and side slope riser in Phase 6. The public comment period runs from February 9, 2018 through March 30, 2018. | |
