| Purpose of the meeting The Powell River and Tributaries Implementation Plan is currently being developed in Lee County and Wise County. As part of this process, the Residential Working Group will meet in two separate locations to receive input and feedback on ways the residential/town areas can address both bacteria and sediment issues in the Powell watershed. Because of the large geographical area of the watershed, two meetings are scheduled yet it is only necessary to attend one of the meetings. The first meeting takes place on May 23, 6-8pm, at the Big Stone Gap Town Hall Gymnasium (505 East 5th St South, Big Stone Gap).
