| Purpose of the meeting For the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to exchange information with the interested public on technical issues concerning the permit modification application such as: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the modification, the standard content of permits, and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit modification. Nutri-Blend, Inc. has applied for a permit modification to add 5847.40 acres of agricultural and silvicultural land to an existing permit. The permit authorizes the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals to specific sites in Amelia County as a fertilizer at controlled rates protective of water quality and human health.
