| Purpose of the meeting The Virginia Board of Education will hold four public hearings to solicit comments on the proposed revised History and Social Science, Health Education, Physical Education, and Driver Education Standards of Learning. The Standards of Learning identify the essential content, processes, and skills for grade levels and subject courses. The proposed revised Standards of Learning can be accessed on the Virginia Department of Education’s Web site.
